Default The very best of luck to all

To be honest I haven't seen many betting cards this meet so far that I have liked. I've been a spectator more often than a wagerer this meet. But today looks like the kind of day(not just at Saratoga but at Calder and Ellis and del Mar and Monmouth) where you could really make some dough.
Every year there seems to be one day, usually a Saturday, where the weather is perfect and the day is such fun and I make some real money at the windows. Last year it was Sword Dancer day for me. Year before it was Alabama Day.
In the long cold hard winters up here you often find your daydreams ona dreary day turning to summers gone by to kind of remiind yourself why you put up with living in a place with such dreary winter days that seem neverending. Then you think of that one great summer day where you were wearing shorts and the crowd was buzzing and you were watching great racing and cashing tickets. You smile to yourself and say, thats why I live here. I'm hoping today is that day that I will think about in the upcoming winter. The weather is unbeatable, my best friends are in town, the racing looks great. ALl I have to do now is cash some tickets to complete it.
Best of luck to everyone on this spectacular day.

Very well put! You should have a racing column. And good luck to you, Mike

Today is all about what NY is all about.
It's either deep snow that you can't keep up with or a lawn that is growing faster than you can keep up with.
I hope you find the horses today that the others can't keep up with.

Score often, score big.
Make the memories! Make the winning bucks!

Good luck!

Uh-huh ... but ...

... but if you turn around and try to move, Sum ... you'll be crushed by a 300lb guy carrying a cooler full of brewskis ... or trip over a gaggle of eight-year-olds trying to look at the pretty horsies.

And let's not even think about what the crowd of tourists is doing to the flora as it tramples its way around the grounds.

Saratoga on the weekend? Sorry ... there ain't no glory then.
