Flashing looks pretty good pedigree wise and I can see this horse being the post time favorite. The question that I have is why is there a 29 day gap between the maiden race and the first listed public work. Did the clockers miss a work? Did the race take so much of the filly that Albertrani gave her time to recover?

I see some speed to the outside. The filly I think has a real good shot at closing and winning this race is Pumpkin Shell. She ran OK Saratoga and at Belmont on the grass against a field that included a number of good horses including the BC Grass Juvy Filly winner. Pumpkin Shell should get a ground saving trip here and if the pace is hot enough I think she's good enough to close and win this race

Good luck to Renpher Stable tomorrow (I know a couple of people who are partners and have followed this girl, and I'm sure that a couple more post here).

On Our Khrysty...

Hope she makes all of you proud and comes home safe (and first)!

Our Khrysty is my choice, perhaps out of indecision because I think the race is wide open and the favorites are very vulnerable

Renpher had a offer in the $250k range last year for Our Khrysty.
But they thought her being a half to Bullsbay made her worth alot more than that.... Maybe Newfoundland mares will become in high demand.
