Thumbs down CAL RACING REPLAYS - no more head ons

Hey Steve Byk
Andy Serling
Drugs
Hooves
the_fat_man
and EVERYONE who WATCHES RACES

the new interface on calracing replays is really bad
---WE HAVE A PROBLEM-------
no more HEAD ONS!
only a few of a horses lifetime races
can no longer "seek" to a point in the race
no more ffwd/rewd

---------------
comments@calracing.com

PLEASE drop them a line and let them know how important some of these features like HEAD ONS are.
hopefully this is only temporary slowness to install the whole deal, but it doesn't look promising. This would be a significant blow to trip handicappers.

And because it is flash, I can't use the WM recorder software to save copies of my horse's races for my historical viewing pleasure. They've also removed MD tracks so that screws me too.

When did they stop showing races from other tracks?
It WAS invaluable. You could get races from other
tracks and if the horses ran fairly sparingly you could
watch some old races 2006, 2007.

That's bad news... From what I understood last month, they have had their budget cutback by the California racing entities that fund them. I imagine a lot of this my be a result of that... Will find out what the back story is next week.
