Default Question: Arizona's Olson reportedly stepping down

Linky linky

Being in Tucson, I have to have this drama shoved down my throat day in and day out. I really don't care, and my question to you is: Does anyone else in the country care right now about Lute and the Arizona basketball program.

I can understand a few years ago when the U of A was truly a powerhouse, but at this point, does the rest of the country feel like they are still a powerhouse?

I have now gotten 3 breaking news alerts here in Tucson this morning about this, and it may not even be true...

Thank you Lord!

I have a hard time rooting for a team that has so much talent but is too lazy to play defense and has a coach that doesnt seem to make them play defense.

I'm way more concerned about the USC-ARIZONA football game going on Saturday night! We've made miracles happen on Homecoming..

I'm sure the atmosphere will be spectacular and I really feel like hopping on I-10 and driving to Tucson right now!

Go Cats!!

I know the feeling about Lute and U of A hoops...Used to spend a lot of time in Green (Death) Valley and Lute was god down there. Guess that's what happens when you don't have any Pro sports

In this era of so many players being one-and-done, most teams don't have a lot of depth and senior leadership. It's a lot easier for a freshman to lead a team far into the tournament than it used to be. With that said, if Brandon Jennings had gone to Arizona, I have a feeling they would have been very relevant. Point guards dominate the college game and he might have been the best in the country this year.

They should never speak his name again and remove all memory of him. The f.ucking guy retired now? Grade timing!!

3 recruits have backed out. Way to put team first, Lute. Now go f.uck yourself.

God damn it I may have to go out there and straighten out this mess. If they will let me bring Leo to maintain the court, King Glorious to do scouting reports, peegarden to do the players homework for them and Scavs to round up the hookers for the post game parties I will take the job.

Sports and Leisure majors have to know how to:

1. Properly clean, maintain and wax gym floors... check, I can help.
2. The variety of cocktail drinks I would have to learn how to mix.... and the paper umbrellas? Kev... help?
