![]() Planning on attending Super Derby again this year...
Been Gustav "fighting" this week! I work for electric utility here in Louisiana. We had 90% of customers without power on Day 1. 20% still out after Day 4. Gustav created more widespread damage than Andrew (1992) and Lili (2002). In central Louisiana, Gustav did more damage than either Lili or Rita (2005). Katrina did not impact middle part of state (fortunately) in 2005. Should have all customers that can take service back on grid by next Tuesday. Hope Ike will weaken and avoid Gulf Coast region. I understand that Mambo in Seattle is committed for Super Derby. Any other horse (or horses) known for this race or undercard?

![]() Mambo in Seattle will not appear in this year's Super Derby. Link to DRF report: http://www.drf.com/news/article/98185.html
Ike is still rolling through east Texas and west Louisiana. Rain and wind decreasing here in central Louisiana. I still plan to attend next week's big day in BC.

![]() In BC tonight, getting ready for 29th running of Super Derby. Macho Again is definitely class of field. Forest Command brings bigger-than-life pedigree into only fourth career start. My Pal Charlie may enjoy his return to Bayou State. He had successful winter campaign at Fair Grounds. Golden Yank has never overcome third place disappointment from last year's Delta Jackpot.
PM me if you plan to attend... looking for DTers at LaD!
