Default Perfect Game Possibility

Doug Davis of the Diamondbacks is trying to out do the Lester No Hitter for recovering cancer patients as he is perfect through 6 innings or 9 outs away from pitching a perfect game.

Davis earlier this year had a cancer scare with a thyroid malignancy.

Thankfully he has responded to treatment nicely and is 2/3rds of the way to perfection.

I don't know if we have any D'back here fans but I hope he does it...

Even if he had done it it would have to come with an *. (It wasnt a major league team he was facing, it was the Padres)

If anyone throws a perfect game anytime soon, you can be sure it will be against the Nationals...good god.

That was cold......think about the games played each and every year when the team has to withstand weather outside the 72F climate that exists 200 days a year. Damn near impossible to concentrate in 60 and 80 degree temperatures with winds near 10 MPH occasionally.
