![]() Doug Davis of the Diamondbacks is trying to out do the Lester No Hitter for recovering cancer patients as he is perfect through 6 innings or 9 outs away from pitching a perfect game. Davis earlier this year had a cancer scare with a thyroid malignancy. Thankfully he has responded to treatment nicely and is 2/3rds of the way to perfection. I don't know if we have any D'back here fans but I hope he does it... |

That was cold......think about the games played each and every year when the team has to withstand weather outside the 72F climate that exists 200 days a year. Damn near impossible to concentrate in 60 and 80 degree temperatures with winds near 10 MPH occasionally. |
