![]() Two questions:
1) Is this horse pointing to the Whitney? 2) Is the cornfield track he ran his last race on a real speed favoring track? I hope this horse goes to the Whitney because - although I admit I don't know much about him and have never even seen him run - he seems like a big bounce candidate to me. Since he has won 3 straight stakes races and won a 300k race with a field of 13 by 6 lengths in his last start, he might take some money which would be nice because it will mean a bigger payoff for me when Flower Alley smokes them all. |

![]() He's been running in Florida, at Calder, and he beat some good Calder regulars in his previous race, a G3, drawing off at the end. He has improved with maturity, now a 4yo and all grown up. GIven that Calder is usually a testing track and he had been able to hold on for 9f there, 9f over a glib track like Prairie Meadows probably felt like a picnic to him. I watched the earlier races that night and speed horses, or close to the lead types, did best.
