I know you don't have the 2nd race posted on here, but I REALLY like #8 Distant Victory in this race. Her first run looks like it was to just get her out there, as she isn't bred to go 6f, and she still almost won. Distant View out of a Deputy Minister mare, a competitive first out number(both Beyer and TG), 2nd time Gaines and Yellow Lambo sticks around, 4 good works since her last race, and from the looks of the DRF selections, there isn't many on her, as of yet (picked 3rd). She definitely has the most upside out of any of these in the race. Only negative is possibly no pace, but it looks like all systems go with her....

Gaines = 17% 2nd start, 24% 1st turf, 24% synth to Turf, 17% sprint/route. She is a little cold this meet, but this one should pick her up a little bit.

With the presense of June My love, who loves to burn money, and O'Neil with 1st time Unusual Heat on turf, 5/2 or 3/1 might be realistic on Distant Victory....

Also, Brad Free's thoughts....

Note early Scratches

R4: River Rebel

I like her, but no way you get 3-1. She is going to get pounded and prob go off the fav at 9-5

I don't really play Cali-tracks (or pick-6s) but I took a quick look through the PPs and will take a shot with my make-believe 2k.

R5 4,5,6
R6 1,3,4,9
R7 6
R8 2,3,5,6
