Default Most Disapointing horse today at belmont ?

Obvious big brown, but for me its not him... i thought he was never anything more then a decent horse beating very bad horses, so to me i was not shocked.

Indian Blessing disapointed me, Readys Image, especially after Desert Key Jogged, but readys image was chilly on the tote early....
Man of Danger should have won, guess he out ran his odds though....
Criminoligist was disapointing

Pletcher's horses were awful all day. Not that any of them were really contenders anyways.

Not really - for me he was though from a betting standpoint.

He will never have a better chance at a grade 1, IMO. He couldn't catch that Zito horse after setting those fractions fending off BB and Tale of E. He's not quite Dollar Bill status yet but I'm not crazy about these type.

For me it was How You Been Nita. Didnt think she would win so I bet her to place and show....as you can see the place and show prices sucked.

Setting what fractions? Da'Tara was loose on the lead on a (potentially) speed favoring track. Denis ran a decent 2nd - I don't see how it was disappointing. I've liked this horse since his maiden - I'm a fan and I've bet him in every one of his races except for the Ill. Derby - but he's not worthy of winning a G1.

denis had to have been compromised by a slow early pace. hell, the whole race was slow.
as for zaftig--it's a damn shame when the acorn can only get four horses to run.

At least the top two are good horses.

I have to disagree, if the timer is correct and as I already have said I am a very sceptical person...a 26.44 final 1/4 and not cutting into that from a horse that won one mdn win to his name after running 2:03.21 for the 1 1/4 has to be termed dissapointing from the clearcut second choice and 3rd place finisher in the derby. Well it was for me!

oh, i think zaftig is a nice horse. just wish the bigger events would draw bigger fields, it's more exciting to watch.

no argument there. field size today for the stakes was pretty good, though.

Denis is a suckup horse and I've said as much since his dream setup in the Southwest. He had absolutely no excuses today....except for ESPN saying Carroll said the Kentucky Derby was a prep for the Belmont. I threw up a little in my mouth when that BS was mentioned.

This horse would improve immensely if he got away from Caroll, his management of this horse has been peculiar all year.
