Default Personal Weather Contingency

I'm having storm issues right now. Thunder and light rain but a big nasty mess is coming at me. I'm hearing it shouldn't be here during the Belmont but if it knocks the cable out, what's the best option for watching the race live? I can't sign up for an online betting account in my state.

Is anybody else keeping an eye out for weather issues? I missed the 2003 Derby due to a nasty storm. It wasn't in our immediate area but the affiliate reached those homes and decided to devote like 6 hrs to people who already had their power and cable knocked out so they probably couldn't see the stupid weather report on tv anyway. My roommates and I cohosted a Derby party so we probably jinxed it.
