Default Kenny Perry (Scuds Read This)

This guy is a gamer. Right back in the hunt again and just holed a chip shot that was money on. He is so cool, laid back and takes it all in stride.

Scuds you were dead on about Perry coming right back and gettin it done, nice call.

I can't believe they grew the rough to 6" on that course. That course is borderline impossible with 3-4" rough, let alone 6"+... trust me, been there, done that.
Also souped up the greens a bit too.... Jackie Nicklaus said the greens were over 12 on the stimpmeter on Monday... and it'll only get faster.

Although, it's supposed to rain there tomorrow, which is normal, as it rains everytime they schedule that tournament.

Perry always plays that course good, even when he's playing bad anywhere else, he steps up at Muirfield Village.

Agree and I live less then 20 mins from the course and have watched my little brother play it in a few tournaments over the years.

the wind is blowin today no doubt helpin to dry the greens out but man that rough is brutal in spots.

20 min.... I grew up about 40 North of there (Bucyrus) and have a degree from OSU (broke 80 a few times from the tips on Scarlet when I was there).

I'll also say this about Muirfield... I've never played any other course with fairways like there (and I've played a handful of pro/exclusive courses). It's like hitting off a spongy carpet. Took me a couple of shots to get used to it, but wish every course would be that nice.

Gotten to talk to Jack there, along with a few other pros and even was hit by an errant shot near 18 green by Daly.

Have you ever played my home course, Westchester (Canal Winchester)? Also, Scarlet and Grey is still nuts nice. Upper Arlington is still one of the nicest areas in town, so well kept, the neighbors look out after each other etc etc..

Yo if you ever head back to town send me a pm and lets meet up if possible for 9 or 18.

Will do (handicap now an 11 and about to go up... just got new clubs, Callaways, so don't know the yardages exactly yet).
I have not played Westchester. Other better Columbus courses I've played are Blacklick (had a US Open qual on it when I was in college and played it when the rough was up) and Cook's Creek. Took 2 golf classes at OSU, so got to play Scarlet/Gray twice a week for free from it!!!! Although never scored very good on Gray (best was an 85)... just one of those courses that didn't fit my game.
I want to play Scarlet the next time I get back there (if weather allows it). Can get on it from being an OSU alumni. Want to see how hard it plays due to Jack's redo. Supposed to be tougher than it was... and it was a really tough test of golf to start with.
