Default Bustin Stones

Is this half quarter horse?
He looks like a little midget horsey
but he has a turnover rate that is
very unusual.
Gets out of the gate really well also.

Does anyone, since there are a lot of NY
guys here, know how big this horse is?

Just looks tiny, I wanted to check my eyes
again. The lasix surgery might need an update.

He's quite small. I'd put him at 15.2 hands as a guess. Many of the City Zip's are small and he looks typical of his sire's babies.

Thanks for the reply.

He moves those little hooves.

His turnover rate is quite fantastic.
He may not take huge steps.
But he takes a hell of a lot of them.
In the stretch he just gets more strides in.
Its quite neat to watch.

By small, I mean short. He's close coupled and pretty proportionate. He's solid though, like CZ himself.

Yes he looks squished in.
Like a block.

A very interesting horse to watch though.

Like the Carter, he has caught another very modest field to say the least.
Looking forward to this race.

This field is way better than the Carter in relation to purse and grade.

I understand but you have to realize Thors Echo isnt the same horse he was 2years ago and has run what? 3 times since? I actually cashed a really nice ticket on him in the BC.

I also agree, this is a better field than the Carter, much better, but thats not saying much. The Carter was a Grade 1 gerbil race.

Black Seventeen going to make Bustin Stones earn this one.

Thats for sure! This is a true Grade 2. The Carter was more like a Grade 3.
