It was the talk of Roanoke today, for sure. Class move by the Yankees.

We may need to agree to disagree....imho Jeter is a class act....Damon is a bit classier than his long hair days in Boston....Bernie Williams was a pretty classy guy....Matsui shows some class

But didn't George undo any class that they, or any other showed.

Plus the Kekich/Fritz Pederson wife swap story is one I tell my daughter every night

And then there's Horace Cater

I'm pretty sure there is room for stone throwing for one reason or another at any of the MLB teams...I'll look for the good things..you, Chuck and others can dwell on the negative.

I have no problems with players for the most part. But the organization has done some things that are far from classy. As a matter of fact there was just a piece about some things with Bernie Williams and the organization and the way he was treated recently. The Joe Torre situation the last few years and the way Zimmer was treated are far from classy moves.

I know some things that cant be repeated here and they are really ugly. I would love to and will tell you in person but not on an internet board out of respect for who told me. Stienbrenner is like the guy who beats his wife then buys her a big diamond ring to make up for it. He may be generous and charitable but he has done some despicable things and his organization is a reflection of him. Plus he fired George Costanza
