Sportin' Brothas like their weed, and white trash like their speed. One's trying to chill out,and the other is trying to rebuild anything they can find. I still say to go after drunk people 1st(before they kill innocent people.)

The drunks n' people on speed? Yeah, they ruin it for their families a lot.As far as the pot goes, that's mainly a case of people being scared of something they didn't grow up doing.Time after time, you see these guys smoking it,and performing in sports at their normal level. The whole thing is mainly about caucasians (who grew up drinking alcohol as their drug of choice) demonizing it by calling people "potheads." I'm fine with it.Lets be consistent, and treat people who drink the same way as people who smoke weed. The same way we treat people who do speed.I think weed is the least destructive, but I know how people were raised to think. So,just be consistent.Stop holding the hands of the drunks while you call others potheads. Alcohol is the main one killin' innocent people. If people really cared about which one is worse(for innocent people,)then it's this one.In other words,I would rather have these cops out catching the Cole Norman's (before they drive someone over)than bugging this guy with his weed.Don't get me wrong.I ain't saying to go smoke weed.It doesn't agree with me.None of them do,but I have seen people on all 3 drugs. As far as their overall harm to society goes,Speed and Alcohol are the worst of the 3.As far as their harm to totally innocent people goes, the alcohol is a stand-out winner. The problem is that it's the one that the important people (making the decisions) grew up doing,or knew somebody doing it.I didn't vote for Obama today, but I do think he is an example of somebody who would be much more "in touch," because he grew up with people who enjoyed using weed(not just alcohol, like with most of the others.)People fear what they don't know. There are way too many people getting t-boned by drunks for me to say pot is anywhere near as dangerous as alcohol.I'm just saying that I want us to get serious with these drunk killers. You want to put this guy away for weed? Fine, but I want guys locked up a long time if they drink and kill. All I hear is excuses........fact is alcohol was the preferred drug for those in power(i.e. Cole Norman..Geedubbya..Teddy Kennedy,)and that's why it's so tolerated.Plain n' simple that's the drug you would be interested in if you were really worried about your daughter getting killed "accidentally."

How is it that a guy who has a half a pound of weed is a demon thug, but a guy with a garage full of beer n' alcohol is "ready for a party"???..... FKN HYPOCRITE SOCIETY...THAT'S WHY......Hypocrites pass laws against one,and not the other. So,you can answer "one is legal, and not the other," but it's still hypocrisy cubed. The result is "one is legal, and not the other," but the results are due to hypocrisy.

Unfairness of the law aside. I still don't see how anyone with that much to lose drives around with a half elbow in his car...

The smart Boston guys get it Fed-Ex like Robert Parish.

They said it smelled like pot(as they approached the vehicle,) but found no means to smoke it? So,if he was smoking it,then they would have charged him for smoking it.Evidently, they couldn't prove he was smoking it while driving. So,they are saying he was going to distribute. That's not an easy sell, because somebody with his resources can afford to buy that much for himself.I guess if he had 10 bottles of unopened Cristal, then he would just be in trouble for the unregistered car. That's a lot of hi-priced champagne, but it's o.k.,cuz it's just very expensive alcohol.

I think it certainly can be psychologically addicting, but not biologically addicting(same goes for horseracing.)Both tend to be chronic(excuse the pun)addictions. When people 1st start betting horses it can be a bloodbath, but it isn't biologically addictive.Nobody gets really physically sick if they don't get to do it.They just are bitches to be around.

If you take a weed smoker of 20 years and make him go cold turkey versus a 20 year beer drinker you are dead on correct. The beer drinker will be physically sick for a while depending upon his daily quanity intake versus the mental issues with the weed guy. The affects of alcohol on the body top to bottom far exceed the effects of weed. Trust me cause I have been thru all kinds of "classes".
