Palace Music, whose son Cigar became the world's richest racehorse, was euthanized Jan. 7 at Rangal Park Stud in the Australian province of Victoria. The pensioned son of The Minstrel was 27.

any good son/grandson of the minstrel left to carry on? such a shame cigar was infertile.

i remember reading that the minstrel line was in danger of extinction.
