Default Note to NYRA Film Dep't

I realize that every so often your editors screw up and they start a headon replay AFTER the horses have left the gate. (I'm assuming that who/whatever is operating the actual camera starts it BEFORE they leave the gate)
I mean, this isn't a BIG THING, unless you're interested in seeing how a particular field breaks. Yeah.
Now, I'd guess this screwup was happening about 10% of the time up thru SAR but it appears as if we're on target to reach just about 50% these days.

This is simple enough. Nothing a simple DRUG or IQ test as a precursor to employment wouldn't solve. This is a joke.

P.S. slap on the ole ZOOM lens sometime.

Where the ****** are all the trip handicappers. What can't we get better film?

By the way, I didn't ignore this, and have been having problems with this as well. Unfortunately, the people at NYRA have other problems, but as soon as I can, I will get something done.

Today's 1st was a winner. They barely caught the start but it didn't matter as the camera was SHAKING; and they took them to mid stretch with the rear shot before switching to the headon. What's the use of switching views midstretch? Why torture the race watcher?

Is it too much to ask to just see the break cleanly and see them ENTER the stretch AND the entire stretch run from the headon?

I just left a message, it's probably too late tonight, but hopefully we can get to work on getting this fixed. It doesn't feel like it should be too hard.

Speaking of todays races, it looked like a nice day to be at the track. The turf looked very green. This temporary heat wave is kind of nice. Schosberg/Dominguez popped at 11-1 with Miss Buddhaful. Both continue to have a nice inner track meet.
