![]() What do people use to research jockey stats that go beyond the usual DRF or Equibase "Leaders of the Meet" for the track currently in season Without the expense of individual Formulator files how can you get data on Jockey performance at Monmouth over an entire jockey career both mounts and positions finished hopefully with an ability to look at charts of those races. Data like yearly or monthly performance at individual venues that have similar short stretch set ups like Santa Anita, Gulf Stream etc as is referenced in Crushing the Cup is what I am looking for. Jocks who are able to make a comfortable efficient move on the turn rather than waiting for the shorter stretch runs found at Monmouth will be more likely successful during the championships. I would like to break down jockey performance for all short stretch tracks, and get some idea of who does better at what distance and surface. Obviously results are skewed by the ability of the horse ridden but I think useful statistics are worth crunching for the two day nonstakes races as well as the usual BC races carded. This is probably an easy one for the DT pro's out there but I haven't had alot of luck as I am hoping to find a website that has such info readily available but have not been able to use Bloodhorse, Equibase, YouBet etc as viable options. Jersey Joe has made a living perfecting these moves but who else speaks fluent Jersey Jockey over their careers? |
