I don't think they will see which way Sakhee's Secret goes. Connections are 100% more confident than they were for the July Cup and he won that easily enough.

The interesting one though is Haatef. Many (including me) thought he would be good enough to win the 2,000 Guineas this year, but he didn't quite stay the mile. A drop back to sprint distances should bring out the best in him, and i expect him to run very well at a nice price.

Has he? Oh well.

Sakhee's Secret has the best form by far and should win this easily.

you do remember that Sakhee's Secret won the Gr1 July Cup as a 3yo and without having ANY Group race experience before that. He is only going to improve, which is scary.

This horse is a machine

Yeah, an overrated one.

Need to see the final field and am hoping for Red Clubs, love Beatrix to death but I'm thinking Al Qasi wins and Clubs comes 2nd.

Cool.

How about something like this..... when I win, you have to change your tag line for a day.

You know, something like "Simon Crisford is God" maybe?

Yes, and he was very rude and disrespectful.

I was working part time at a supermarket when i was about 17 when this happened.

All he is is a glorified journalist, who wouldn't know a good horse if it kicked him up the backside. To this day no one knows how or why he got the job he has got now.

The guy i know who i play cricket with used to share an office with him, and i couldn't repeat what he says about him on a public forum.

Your boy got a crap post position. NO using that as an excuse... if he's really the second coming, he should win.

So how do you wanna do this bet?

Come home safe, Fayr Jag and Balthazaar... good boys.

Hope Per Incanto proves that he has a ton of talent.

Good luck to my favorite, Red Clubs.

Al Qasi to win with Red Clubs and Asset hitting the board. (Subject to change... might reverse AQ and RC).

The draw doesn't worry me. He was away from the rail at Newmarket and still managed to win the July Cup, which was a much stronger race than this in my opinion. In a sprint, it isn't as if they have to travel deep on a bend, so the draw shouldn't be a problem. He is drawn next to a very fast horse in the shape of Marchand d'Or and other fancied horses including Al Qasi and Red Clubs are also drawn low. So although he is away from the rail, it might turn out that a low draw would be preferred at this stage.

If no rain falls (it isn't forecast) it would be doubtful that Al Qasi would run. Peter Chapple-Hyam has warned that he will only take his chance if the ground is suitable.

"Clubsy" as they call him at Barry Hills won't be far away and i respect that horse a great deal for the solid runs he has had this year. The step up from five furlongs to six will help him and i would be very surprised if he didn't hit the board.

I would be seriously disappointed if Sakhee's Secret doesn't win, but at the same time i wouldn't be shocked if Red Clubs beat him, but he is the only horse in the field that i am worried about.

Sakhee's Secret / Red Clubs / Asset

You really want me ro discuss the bet on a public forum?
