Do People Really Pay to see women play basketball? It just hits me as remarkable that they do that.

I would say I've been to at least 50 or more Div 1 women's college hoop games in the last 5 years and ZERO NBA games in the last 15 years

These days I have a tough time watching the NBA. As far as the WNBA goes, I think I would rather watch ping-pong. The only thing that makes sense is these people who have little girls that like basketball. They look up to these players like I looked up to guys like Jordan, Ewing and so on. I guess if you have daughters and they like sports then maybe the WNBA is a good thing for you.

1)I have more money than I once had. So,I think that alone makes me less hungry for it. 2)I have been spending a lot of time producing stuff for this youngsta (2 links for him in my signature.) This is probably the biggest reason. 3)They started having shorter fields at Anita, and so I wasn't interested much. Then I just never came back at Hollywood.I think this whole period is considered transition (for me,) because of the switch in SoCal to artificial.I am all for it,but it doesn't mean I am any good at.So,I think the reason is all of the above, but I can tell you it wasn't a decision.I just got interested in some other stuff. |

I've watched about 15 seconds of WNBA in my lifetime (remote slipped out of my hand and it took me that long to pick it back up). I have watched an occasional NCAA tourney game (I think it is the win or go home thing). For that matter, I have watched about 15 minutes of the NBA over the last 5 years. Mens college hoops only for me.

I went to a game in Connecticut a couple months ago. They played Phoenix with Taurisi. It was not the worst time I ever had. The place was packed. I had Conn and the under. If you have a daughter who plays sports, it is a nice time. But truly tolerable only with a little action.
