Default Del Mar - Saturday July 28th

Nightcap Race.

#7 Screen Giant ran a huge fig (thorograph 3!) first time out that was buried. Two potential negatives are a bounce and Mike Smith. 7-2 for this Giants Causeway horse... Hopefully has had enough time off from first race to limit a bounce effort.

#11 Look Deep came back first start as a three year old with a nice race. 5-2 morning fave.

#7 to Win
Exacta Box 7-11......

Good Luck to all....

Tizfiz should crush the 7th race. She only barely lost to Theverythoughtof U in her first start, then won her maiden next time. She's definitely stakes quality.

Overextended is interesting at 6-1. Debut was okay broke a little slow and really had no where to run in the stretch. Was a $400,000 Fasig Calder March 2 year old purchase who ran 10.3 workout at the sales

The favorite Drill Down was a Barretts March $350,000 purchase who ran third in his debut. Not much of a price.

Another intersting longshot is #1 who cost $240,000 at Barretts March and worked a quick 21.2 there. Trainer is just 2 for 60 in first time starters so watch for later on at two turns.

Baffert's Horse was a $110,000 charge back at Barrets March and worked in 10.2.

I would make a small wager on Overextended here.

I think the 14 goes to the lead and wins. I'll box the 8,12,14.

Hope she runs back to her debut number and goes thru it. The shipper from Monmouth is the fastest but hopefully the long trip shipping and running on the poly surface will get her to bounce.
