That is fine, but I want to see it live at least. It is one race....Otherwise, the condition books looks loaded, as always. I don't think I saw a claiming race within Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday. They were all Substitute races....

The book actually lays out really nice. I very much like what I see.

I second that. If I wanted to watch hurdles I'd go to Fair Hill in Jersey

Fair Hill is in MD. Spa hurdling is a tradition going back a century. There will be 2 sanctioned jump races on open house day. No betting though.

Agreed, but I have to say that those jump jocks are some tough muthas. It's almost like they expect to fall down at least once a meet.

Sorry, meant FAR Hill.

I'm aware of the tradition, and it's interesting in the right situation, but when the turf gets hard like it does sometimes up there it seems ripe for bad injuries.

Not a big fan either. In fact, I believe it was two or three years ago they began the whole meet with a jumper race and it turned out to be a lot of carnage in that race.

Years back all you usually needed to know about the jump races was the saddle cloth number for the J Sheppard entry...

Did you see the "Leave It To Beaver Look-A-Like Stakes" in there?

Scav = The Beaver. 20 years later.

(payback for blowing me off after 3 minutes at Arlington. you didn't even mark my program or sign my shirt).

You'll get plenty of time with me when I cruise down to Gulfstream this winter.

I am an appearance guy, and I was getting smoked so I had to find funds (find Dad) and rejuice the voucher only to get smoked. I stopped bringing the ATM Card because I was going their too consistently.

For a good while, this was all you needed to 'cap hoppers at Toga...

The indominable, fearless, BLYTHE MILLER!

...tough to beat riding her dad's horses.
