I CAN'T WAIT!

BEO HEADS FALMOUTH ENTRIES

Dual 1,000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo heads a list of 17 possibles at the six-day stage for the UAE Equestrian And Racing Federation Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket on Wednesday.
Jim Bolger's English and Irish Guineas heroine is one of three possibles from the Emerald Isle , with the John Oxx-trained Arch Swing and Tommy Stack's Alexander Tango also entered in the Group One feature.

Of the older fillies, Pam Sly is considering the race for last year's 1,000 Guineas victor Speciosa while also in the list is John Gosden's classy Nannina.

Mick Channon is triple-handed with Flashy Wings, Majestic Roi and Sweet Lilly as is Jeremy Noseda through Rahiyah, Sander Camillo and Simply Perfect.

South African challenger Irridescence, trained by Mike De Kock, is on course for the mile feature. A high-quality entry is completed by Red Evie, Bahia Breeze, Yaqeen, Darrfonah and Heaven Sent.

With all this rain around, it looks like it will be another race that could cut up badly. I very much doubt Nannina will run, unless it is dry from now until the day of the race, which look unlikely. I doubt Mike De Kock is too happy with all of the rain, either. I'm only about 6 miles from the track and it rained solidly from 5pm until about midnight last night.

Not the great field it should have been but an awfully nice field.

Sentimental pick is Irridescence but i'll make a real pick later.

Come home safe girls.
