Default Belmont Fri (5/18) - Off Track Picks?

Weather here is bad today. Thinking they will likely be off Turf and wet track. Wait and see I guess.

Trying to put together pick6 / pick4 with that in mind.

Anyone have an opinion on MTO's in the niightcap? Most of the field has been considerably less than stellar over dirt if it comes off.

Thanks!

Looks like they will be on Turf. Wasted some time handicapping Off Turf...oh well.

Pat,

Only handicap for OTT and WET if the potential seems at least 75% obvious for it.. Otherwise, always assume 'fast and firm'.. I've wasted too much time over the years trying to anticipate wet conditions. Now I only adjust when it's a certainty...

Thanks. Sound advice.

Have to admit I love handicapping off tracks. Must be all those rainy days I got off from outdoor work and spent at Saratoga in my youth...
