Default Withers/Divine Park

Although winning from the rail post at Aqueduct is no great feat in and of itself, I thought this colt looked pretty good today. In his last race (a decent allowance race at Kee) he broke poorly and rallied from last (ninth) to win going away. Today he set decent fractions and wired the field in his first try routing.
I wonder if they will send him to Pimlico in three weeks?

That Bernardini thing is jumping around in your head.

I thought this was an impressive performance by the horse NOT the jock.

Terrible handling in the lane (and in the early BS run) by Garcia.

Believe me Bernardini is one horse that does not "jump around in my head." I've pretty much already forgotten about him.
I am not saying that I think he is going to win the Prekness, I am just wondering if Barry and McLaughlin are considering it.

In all seriousness I thought he looked pretty good today. I would imagine they at least think about the Preakness.
I would think the Preakness is most likely with Peter Pan/Belmont another possibility. Probably depends on whether or not they think he'll get 12.

i read that sightseeing is heading for the peter pan and then belmont, which is great. i think that he's moving in the right direction, and that the added distances will suit him.

So how did you end up not keeping the horse, Kiaran see him one morning and call the sheiek and they made you an offer you couldn't refuse?

He may end up being a very good horse, but the rail and the front was the place to be yesterday at Aqueduct (I know, how surprising ).

Yeah, he is a tough one to figure because in his last two he won from off the pace at Keeneland (shocker!) and from on the lead/rail at Aqueduct (another shocker!).
Still, he looks versatile and could be a real good one. He hasn't even tried grass yet which he may (given his sire's success) also like a lot.
Nice purchase by Cannon Shell.
