Nice to see old guy back from his R&R in Missouri. Hopefully he can be
competive in nice stakes races again. The owner Dr. William Reed also
has another old timer you should watch named Proven Cure, as
12 yo last year he won 5 in a row and 2 were stakes going short on the
turf. He's in training in Tx. The owner and 2 trainers should be applauded
for keep these 2 horses sound and healthy for so many years.

Do we know what his likely schedule will be? Are they starting him out on the turf like they have done the past few years and then switching him back to dirt or are they trying something new?
He seemed to finally lose a step last year and wasn't quite his usual competitive self at the G1 level. It will be interesting to see what kind of year he has this year. I hope he does well.

Last couple of years his first was always a grass race at
Keeneland. I wonder how far along he is in training and
if he is going to make a start a Keeneland. He has only
four published works.

After years of the all/drift/ all trifecta, i think i'll change to the all/ all/ drift version this year.

Another old competitor is back today at Keeneland...Funny Cide.

Here's hoping Drift gets back to hitting the board and/or figuring into the tri or super like the old days.
