Default nobiz.....

'Nobiz' more focused with blinkers ... that is the title of the article on ntra.com, this guy could benifit so much from putting the blinkers on, i think he's going to improve so much for the wood, i think he romps in the wood and goes back to the top of the list for derby contenders. i dont think anyone will question the raw talent of this horse and i think this equipment change will get him focused and put him into it early and im thinking he's going to improve so much, i cant wait for the wood.

And if it doesn't, will your postings change ? And maybe get a new handle ?

im my opinion i would consider 9-5 value on him, and you might be able to get that, pletcher is on fire he's pointing 1 maybe 2 horses 2 the wood, summer doldrums ran a huge number the race before the gotham and he's pointing to the wood.

Every year, I try to find a horse in the Derby to bet against at a short price,
this year it is him...but the blinkers should help.

This thread has put me in the uncomfortable position of agreeing with POINTGIVEN1985. But unfortunately, there is no way around it. I believe Circular Quay is pointed to the Wood, and off of his last performance he will (justly) receive a lot of play, and if there was ever a horse that was SCREAMING for blinkers.....it is Nobiz like Showbiz. If both CQ and Nobiz actually do run in that race, Nobiz might actually be a decent bet with blinkers on.

Will the new set of blinkers come with a buzzer???? That horse needs a new engine as well as a set of blinkers...he is just too slow to win a major G1 or G2race.

Speaking of Harlan's Holiday...

His first crop are two year olds this year. There's a filly I'm interested in seeing:

some of his 2yo's looked real nice in the ring at calder and fetched some very nice prices (I think one went for $850,000)

Do you want the list of faster older horses, too? This is the Beyer leaderboard for all distances, but plenty of Triple Crown nominees are so-far faster than Nobiz's 98.

IF Nobiz is NOT fast enough, then neither are Scat Daddy and Stormello. Nobiz ran stride for stride with them.

A different picture when you just look at a mile or more. Interesting who the only horse on there twice is.

Oh no... don't open that can of worms. I seem to be one of the only ones on here who likes Scat Daddy. LOL
