I just looked it up and claims it was 97 in New Orleans. A Blues Brothers Bash with Aykroyd, Goodman and Jim Belushi. Also James Brown was present.

Looking over the list, I noticed that the Eagles haven't played the Super Bowl. I think Henley is from Texas, but are they even together? Also would they let a band called the Eagles play in Jerryland?

Also it's been Rock n Roll the last 3 years. Would they switch it up and go some other way?

They actually played before the game started. Half time was some sh*t kickin country thing. I was pretty hammered for 3 straight days, but do know ZZ Top when I see them.

Jimmy Buffet is an entertainer, get over it

I'd like to see Metallica or AC/DC to get an edge - matter of fact I have AC/DC on my wake up call alarm clock

How about Pearl Jam. They could stay with the 60 something theme and go with the Allman Brothers but they would only play one song and probably go too long.

Wow, Van Halen ..with or without David Lee Roth?

I've never been to cheeseburger in paradise but I've heard it is nothing special and it cost like $50 to eat there.
Easily the worst Super Bowl halftime show I've ever seen. I never was that much of a fan of these guys when they were younger, but my God they were horrible.

A Superbowl 2010 halftime show featuring, among others, songs from the rock opera "Tommy", a Who album first performed for the coronation of George III, seemed a bit dated. Next year, the NFL might want to be less concerned with the copyright of the play list and more concerned with carbon dating of it.
