Sir Michael Gambon certainly spices up every scene he's in. He's a villain totally and he's like an elephant in a room. Powerful, rude, loud, violent, all things bad bad bad. The baddest of the bad in Luck, so far.

That's unfortunate, but this horse didn't die while filming a scene. She reared back while being led to the stable and hit her head on the ground.

A freak accident. Reminds me of what happened to Exogenous before the 2001 Distaff.

The first two horse deaths drew criticism from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which said that safety guidelines used in filming failed to prevent the deaths “so clearly they were inadequate.”

Good thing they arent against seat belts...

Well perhaps if America Humane would allow lip chains to be used on horses that are high strung or goofy then maybe they wouldnt act up in the street and kill themselves.

Why would they have a say? It is a pretty basic horse industry standard to use lip chains on unruly horses. Appeasing these people never works.

You cannot believe how much say they have in everything. I saw the horse being stupid and jumping around in the street, the guy on the end of the shank had no shot. These horses are being fed and trained like race horses so they are acting like them as well and the stupid azz's from America Humane want to tell the people who actually know what they are doing how to do it.

Couldn't agree more. Loved it.

maybe the AHA and PETA should spend one day as a claims adjuster for equine insurance. Maybe they'd gain some perspective.

He's terrible in this role. Killing Rain Man's middle man was about as believable as Split Rock's pick 5 tickets.

I wish the producers had balls, so because some PETA morons get mad they cave? I have horses that have reared up and flipped over, maybe I should quit my job. I guess there will no longer be any horse shows or movies, a horse might get hurt. This is so ridiculous, if any of those animal rights wackos REALLY knew horses, they would know they get injured in their stalls, in the pastures, in trailers and just plain walking down the road.

Luck Shut Down For Good

Needless to say, this type of publicity is the last thing this sport needs.

Viewership had decreased to 600,000 - It was a convenient way out of a mess, that's all.
