Default Obama wrong yet again

Does anyone check the facts before this guy reads from his teleprompter?

It is important to note that "if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world".

So says President Barack Obama.

and the realty is

The average claim for the US Muslim population is about six million. The precise figure is difficult to get because it's not included in US census data and many put the figure at much, much less.

But even if we assume there are six million Muslims in the US, that makes it only the 34th biggest Muslim country in the world - behind Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Nigeria, China, Ethiopia, Algeria, Morocco, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Tanzania, Syria, Malaysia, Niger, Senegal, Ghana, Tunisia, Somalia, Guinea, Kenya, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Burkina Faso and Tajikistan.

Burkina Faso? LMAO

I'm sure you"ve been asked this before, but, do you hate him more because he's democrat or because he's black?? I'm not an Obama lover or hater, but if I was a hater, it wouldn't consume me as it does you.

Who's "we"? Your buddy Bill O'Reilly? The minority of Americans who didn't vote for Obama. Non-Muslims?

Yes, we have six to eight million Muslims in the US, and considering there are what, like 165 countries in the world, those 6-8 million people indeed put us ahead of most countries in the world, and ahead of several European countries.

Geesh. Worry about something that matters.

I'd say hate is the wrong word. Fear would be more appropriate.

case in point

Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he and Cuban ally Fidel Castro risk being more conservative than U.S. President Barack Obama as Washington prepares to take control of General Motors Corp.

During one of Chavez's customary lectures on the "curse" of capitalism and the bonanzas of socialism, the Venezuelan leader made reference to GM's bankruptcy filing, which is expected to give the U.S. government a 60 percent stake in the 100-year-old former symbol of American might.

"Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right," Chavez joked on a live television broadcast.

Sorry but joking about becoming a socialist nation just isn't funny at all. IMO

If you are talking to me, Bill O is a smarmy pig, but he does have the largest viewership in TV land.........not that I ever waste the time.
The problem is that the
fraud uses a "neophyte" approach to foreign and domestic policy. He pisses off our traditional allies so he can appease one group on people and pump his ratings......Sad

C'mon, Dell - this wasn't done to become a socialist nation, and you know darn well the alternative of the government ignoring it was happening wasn't deemed as good for the country by anybody with any decent bonafides in finance, right, left or center.

What do you care what that nutjob Hugo Chavez says? Are you kidding me? You know what he said about Bush?

I don't remember him calling Bush 'comrade'. Guess those amazing caribean dancers so close to each other changed it all. Since Hummer has been sold off to the Chinese are they now going to make the Humvees for the military or are we going to downsize and transport troops by bicycle?

What is "neophyte" about his approach? What traditional allies has he pissed off? (please don't say Saudis) What group is he trying to appease? What ratings is he conducting his foreign policy only to pump?

You should watch Bill O'Reilly, there's a good chance one of these days his head will really explode.

I thought you were a quick study, but no worries! The time you spend on Bill you will never get back. Saudis fund many terrorists groups, but I guess Congress has decided we MUST stay forever tied to oil, so we still play the game, decade after decade. Allies that we've pissed off....Britain,Israel,Turkey' and most of Asia. Appeasal awarded to the downtrodden and oppressed Muslims, most of whom have neglectred to condemn the BS that their bretren have perpetrated on various perceived enemies. Zero is like a humminbird.....going from flower to flower to pollinate with his nonsense...none of which is new, different or sage!

Seriously - the anti-American rhetoric is getting old. Love it or leave it.

I agree... I've never understood why we love the Saudi's so much.. Like every terrorist involved in 9/11 was was a Saudi and part of the Saudi royal family helped fund 9/11 (including the A$$ HOLE who won the derby with War Emblem).

Yet we continue to toss their salads.

And this is why America consistently fails to do well within the middle east - a repeated, stubborn failure to be willing to understand and acknowledge the complexities of the region.

At least the British understand when they didn't get it.

Seriously when has anyone said they were anti-American? And the only people who promised to leave, Babs Streisand, Alec Baldwin and the petri dish known as Cher never did. The fact I'm so concerned with the obvious path this President has taken makes me American. IMO and a Capitolist.

PS I also don't like a kids soccer game with no score but that's just me!!!
Maybe Mine That Bird should skip the Belmont to give those less fortunate colts a better chance. Or even better let him run and if he wins force him to split the winnings with the down-trodden.

Are you saying that what I typed is false? Or that we should just forgive them because its complex.

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/ar...480226,00.html

This is an interesting read. I'm not one to jump on conspiracy theories, but when 3 members of a ROYAL Saudi family die within one week of each other, and its not like they were old men... right after they were exposed by a very high profile terrorist, it makes you wonder.

When Hugo Chavez' words are quoted to me as valid argument against the US President - yes, I view that as not on the side of America.
