Default 2 Former Bucs and 2 USF players missing in the Gulf of Mexico

Does not look good. 14 foot seas in a 21 foot boat....

If they are in the water with lifevests on, it is too cold for them to survive.

Very sad.

I hope my prayers are answered and they are found.

Something tells me they wont be. Sad story indeed.

why anyone would take a small boat like that out in the gulf is beyond me. i doubt any sign of them or the boat is ever found, i'd imagine it swamped. and usually things are compounded by lack of swimming ability with no life jackets being worn.

supposedly the guy who owns the boat, Cooper, is a very strong swimmer and supposedly everyone had a life vest.

here is hoping for the best for the 3 men remaining at sea. at least they are strong guys who are in great shape... but its gotta be hard to stay alive.

Amazing news that one was rescued though.

"Schuyler reportedly told his family that all of the boaters were alive and together at about 2 a.m., but somewhow got separated."

- From fox news.

I think this is good news as they would have only been in the open sea for 12 hours now... with life jackets I hope!

and did you know that more often than not, it's the 'strong swimmer' in the mix who usually drowns? they don't wear a vest, they fall overboard and strike for shore, thinking they'll make it...if all the guys had a vest, ON, then they have a good shot at making it.

According to what I have read... they all DID have lifevests on...

and they were all holding onto the boat until 2am this morning when somehow three were seperated (I'm sure they didnt swim towards shore - they were 30 miles out...)

I really hope they are found soon!!!

That is a very small boat for the gulf.
And leaving with the weather station reporting
winds that high...

Hope they find the rest of them.
Kinda weird how they give their sizes
and weights. The ocean does not care,
this is not a football game.
