![]() One of the best at any convention in my memory...certainly there with Obama's keynote speech. She certainly did everything expected and then some...the highlight of the convention thus far.

![]() she did okay. i think she loses credibility with the lesbian wing if she comes out any stronger in his favor. she did what she had to for her 2012 or 2016 campaign. no more. no less.
i have to say the keynote put me to sleep other than a fascination with his teeth. they're huge. i used to think mccain had a lot to overcome. but unless these guys learn to land a punch a republican could win in a year where they carry an unpopular war and bad economy on their back. still think it's obama's to lose. but starting to have doubts. |

![]() she stepped on an applause line.
"my mother was born before a woman could vote for president...but my daughter was able to vote for her mother as president" or something like that. i couldn't hear because she threw the end out into uproarious applause. obama would know better. |

![]() she did have the one strong line where she talked about some fill in the blank working class folks and then asked her supporter's, "did you do this for me or for them?"
that will have some traction. and both she and obama will need that. |

![]() my issue with her is she comes across as so inauthentic. listening to her i don't think she cares any more about the working class than dick cheney. she'd say anything to get elected.
she needs to learn to give a speech the same way she talks in a one on one interview. she's pretty good one on one. people notice she sounds different. obama sounds and looks the same in either format. even if he's a complete fraud he's consistent. and bush sounds like a ****** regardless. but you feel he's genuine. she's a f'in robot in my mind until she learns to give a speech like she's talking to me and not speaking at me. |

excuse me! ahem.. as a fellow "les" I will be the first to say this bitch lost all credibility with me in the 90's. If someone told me I could fucl< Scarlett Johannson if I voted for Hillary I still dont know if I could. Well scrap that yes then I'd vote for her. But that is the ONLY way. I feel Obama is a much better person than Hillary and Obama would make a much better president than her... but I ain't voting for him either! I dont like the repub's but I dislike the dem's even more. |

![]() i have a hard time believing hillary really wants obama to win. that would preclude her being a candidate in four years, and she doesn't strike me as one wanting to wait eight to try again.
i think she wants in far more than she wants the dems in the white house.

I think her campaign this year eliminated ANY possibility of her EVER getting into the white house. The way she handled herself at the end was pathetic. Women have the chance of getting into the main office.. Hillary does not. |

![]() After the job that Bush has done, you would think that whoever the Dems put out there would run away with it. The fact that it is still a close race (and personally I think McCain is going to pull it off) shows me how bad/poor the Democratic candidates are. Al Gore would have won this in a landslide.

al gore is just as pathetic now as he was years ago. i don't think any candidate will be winning any time soon in a landslide. we all seem very frustrated with our choices-i know i am. i know mccain had an event planned, with romney and huckabee at his side. i don't know what i'll do vote-wise if he chooses the huckster as his running mate, as i can't stand the guy. i didn't like him as arkansas gov, and i sure wouldn't want him to be the potential #1 in the country. another election in which everyone has to choose what their lesser of two evils will be. it's funny in a sad way tho..a lot in congress ran on a 'vote for me to change things' platform, and now congress has an approval rating that's one third of bushes.
