I wish I'd have thought of this angle myself years ago. I wasted so much wacking

No spelling error here - just a gross misunderstanding of the correct word usage...

"You must HAVE been sleeping during the race" - or - "You must've been sleeping during the race"

Contractions are used to shorten phrases.

I put that song on repeat whenever I handicap a card or when I'm in bed with the GF. Definitely improves the ROI.

I just find it amusing you are going after NTAMM, who by all accounts is Rachel Alexandra to your Pepper's Pride.

I sure as hell wouldnt pay for them

glad i'm not the only one (or is it won? ) who is driven a tad crazy by 'of' rather than have.

t's been a great day.

NT
Prado sold that DQ well to his credit, another thing is Harlem Rocker has a tendency to pull himself up when he gets the lead. Once again this DQ would be a moot point for me if the stewards were consistent to the non DQ with a comparable incident that happened earlier in the week when a horse interfered with a Contessa horse ridden by one of the Morales boys. Given what happened or didn't happen in that race, it made this decision a bad one if one were to expect some sort of consistency from the stewards.

Have you made the conclusion that NTamm is from Tampa because of his handle? Or do you mean that you are not far from Tampa International and can fly out to see NTamm anytime?

Either way, thank you very much for your contributions to Derby Trail, you have taken a normally slow Monday to a new level.

Add Ready's Echo to the field according to NYRA's notes for today:

"Let’s Go Stable’s Ready’s Echo, prepping for Monday’s Memorial Day feature, the 116th running of the Grade 1, $600,000 Metropolitan Handicap at a mile, breezed a half-mile on the fast main track in 47.82."

He and The Roundhouse are quite a complimentary team for Todd. Is he going to see which one can come from farther back?

Which is kind of funny since Pletcher has probably utilized a rabbit as much as anyone in stakes races the past few years yet he'd never do it in this situation that it would so obviously be called for.

He didn't nominate one. Whether he has one in his barn? I'd hope so but the way his stock has been lately, maybe not.
