Believe me, I get a ton of shiat about it, but I've always like Joel a lot. We share a lot in common and I appreciate a person who has strong opinions and sticks with them. I'm glad to see that you feel the same way.

I had a feeling you'd chime in, Hossy!

Madcap Escape went to the dead rail in the Humana Distaff two race prior and it was like quick sand that afternoon and cost AA the triple crown IMO.

Cajun. I consider Joel a personal friend and I agree with you. He's stricly about results and I would put him up against any handicapper in the country heads up.

If you remember well, Joel punked Oracle big time in regards to Scat Daddy and his career. Multiple Grade G1 winner at 2 and 3.

Actually he was coughing his head off coming off the track a few days before the Derby.

Look I cashed a 2k pick 4 at Toga in part due to Mike Smith's ride in the final race last summer at Toga. That doesn't mean he's a great rider. The fact of the matter is i've had this god damn avatar for three weeks and all I asked for was 3 wins to take it down.

Hoss, he definitely wasn't the fastest T-Bred, but he found the winner's circle on numerous ocassions. His racing record must be respected.

Hurt in the Derby and 4th in the Juvy. Not all that bad IMO.

How could you dislike a face like this?

Eh... 15 lengths or so? LOL

In his defense, Street Sense blew by everyone, not just him.

Bottom line he won G1's at 2 and 3, which you can't say about Jazil or Bluegrass Cat. In this day in age, he deserved to be respected for that alone. I understand that you were not a fan, but to dismiss his accomplishments is a mistake.

You can find him at Wiretowire.com. Joel is up to date as anyone in the horse racing industry.
