Very impressive. Didn't expect that off the layoff.

Looks like "they" were right though. I could've ridden that winner.

Song of Love was WHIPPED

EARLY and OFTEN

Staggered home. Big Brother would've been proud with that stretch run. Has he ever felt the sting of the whip EARLY TURN?

yea. The layoff was really the only question. "would she be a little sluggish off the time off?". She was much the best in her debut, but got outrun. The 4 consecutive 3furlong drills were a good sign. Figures aside, nobody in the field has the ability to run with her maiden race in november.

I'm looking at the trainer stats for the 5th race in the BRIS PPs.

So, Motion is 100%, 2 for 2, 1st time off the claim, with an ROI of 7.60.

Very nice. His filly is thus an UNDERVALUED 7:2, in a tough race.

Motion is also +0.22 running back off a 90+ day layoff. She hasn't raced in over 9 months.

I don't get why you'd claim a horse and immediate give it a 9-month layoff unless something's seriously wrong.

The assumption was that Motion straightened out her problems and she was ready to roll.

She ran a decent 3rd but my only point was that she was an underlay as a result of the trainer stats.

****, I called that one didn't I?

I couldn't catch the first few strides with my live feed, but I took time to see the head on, and he knocked the **** out of the 2 and the 1SongOLove. Knocked Song of Love off balance.

When you see a horse foul three or four times in its career, and then 2 of them are with CC Lopez(a "gate" jockey), and today he goes to Marragh you have to expect that. 2-1 that Marragh didn't even do the homework and know. If I had any horse draw inside that one in the future I would bitch like crazy. Outside and I let these suckers do their own homework.

This is rediculous. How many times can this horse foul up the start of races before someone notices?

It obviously had no effect on the win, and highly unlikely that it had any effect on the exacta. Pretty tough filly, for an average talent, and maybe some problems= that Better Again.

Debateable if that smash had any effect on Song Of Love hitting the tri or super. It wasn't the way you want to start a race that's for sure.

i like how the chart says Unspoken Vow "was bumped".

as if another horse bumped her.

DNF
Hopefully she was completely healthy and runs back in 2 weeks post position #2

Thanks Jack. I figured it'd be in the mid-90s.

I will qualify this comment by saying that I thought Music Note looked like a legitimate Grade I filly yesterday, but this figure seems a bit high in comparison to other races yesterday (although I'm sure the card was a figure-maker's nightmare, given the weather conditions).

Very modest NY-breds in the 4th race went a mile in 1:36.4, exactly one second slower than Music Note ran a half-hour earlier (although there was a rain squall). What was the figure assigned to Rodeo Hand? Normally, I'd expect something in the mid-70s, but if Music Note was assigned a 97, then he should be in the mid-80s. Just wondering.
