There are 2 drinks a day I NEVER go without. Some sort of Espresso or Iced Coffee and a Caffeine Free Canada Dry Diet Ginger Ale (has to be Canada Dry too). I tend to drink much more of both on my days off. If I drink as much on my work days, I would never get sh*t done because I have the worlds smallest bladder and I piss all day.

I haven't bought a pack in a year. I bummed a smoke from a girl at work the other day, and it was the first one I have had since the Tampa trip back in Feb.

Never heard of that before, but it's interesting that it's credited to the Greek immigrant community, and that the spices mentioned are a part of the spices that make up Cincinnati chili, which is widely regarded as being of Greek origin (two of the major players were started by Greek families), although the wiki page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincinnati_chili
mentions other countries, too.

Another favorite in the area is goetta
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goetta

While the store-bought is pretty good, home-made is the best. I have good recipies for both Cincinnati chili and goetta. (Goetta also happens to be the name of a champion Quarter Horse.)

The local thang where I live now is Frogmore Stew, aka Lowcountry Boil.

Simple to make, it's a regular request when guests from up north visit.

I'm getting hungry...

Oh, and lots of folks in the South call it Co-Cola.
