I still can't figure out where Baffert is going with Bodemeister.

I don't see him shipping to Oaklawn to take on BB's pair of Southwest winners but, he has to show up somewhere.

No love for Louisiana Derby 04/01/2012?

FG management totally mismanaged this year. Same weekend as Final Four in Big Easy. No rooms available. I can drive 40 miles out of town and stay for $169 per night! My usual $109 room at Hampton Inn was sold out long ago and at much higher price.

Also, FG is splitting FG Oaks from Louisiana Derby again this year. If I go I will just drive in for Sunday Derby and drive out. Leaning toward closer-to-home OTB with free drinks.

Last rant item -- FG reintroduced admission fee for its "premier" days last season. Other three Louisiana tracks NEVER charge admission!

Also say Cigar Street will have a Friday workout then a decision about LA Derby will be made
