Looks like you're right, I've been re-reading the articles for this year. I think the attraction this year is a bump up in purse for the Rebel from $300k to $500k

yeah, cella did that in '04 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of oaklawn park.

he was going to put up the 5 million himself;not insure the potential payoff. when he saw smarty jones' last work before the derby, he called the insurance company!!
