I think Interactif has a strong chance to give Todd Pletcher his sixth last-place finisher.

Dude Hes really good, I doubt he bombs this Saturday, he could get a bit tired late, but I think that would be because of the surface.... He has been in my Derby Top 5 all year.

Some horses are just cut out to be better on dirt than synthetic.

The classic example would be Hystericalady. She always either pissed away easy leads on synthetic .. or made threatening turn moves and totally faded in the stretch.

On dirt ... she was one of the 12 or so most talented female horses I've ever seen.

It really is a shame that we don't see classic SoCal dirt horses anymore because of the synths.

The BC Distaff running line was especially painful for me. That was the biggest bet I've ever made and stood to cash VERY large had she won that bob.

She's definitely the example I come up with when I look at dirt vs. synthetic being interchangeable.

I guess I should be happy he didn't bring up the TVG contest.
And here I was talking about Michelle Yu today...that scene is much more worthy of a discussion...

Doug, as always tremendous zeal, reasonable analysis and a remarkable ability to escape the munchkin mnds. Another good effort.

Same here Phil.
I cringed when I saw the PP running line.
I wish she would have had Gomez on her...I like to think he would have carried her across the wire in front....I had a large Win bet on her. (for me)
I actually made a little $$ on the race thanks to a $10 exacta saver under Ginger Punch...But I crush them if HL wins.

BBB, as always tremendous pompousity, pretentious posting, and a remarkable ability to demean yourself in a veiled attempt to criticize others. Another pathetic effort.

By the way, shouldn't it be Cannonmen?
