vick isn't the kind of qb you plug into a standard nfl offense. any success he had came from building a team around his mobility. i don't know if anyone remembers but when he threw the ball, he looked pretty average. maybe a little below average.

i can't imagine why t.o. would want him there unless he's suddenly worried about building up his downfield blocking stats.

My dad just called me and asked me how the phuck I can support a team like that....I could sense the steam shoot through his ears when he was explaining to my mom why he's no longer a fan. "thats the phuckin difference between those losers and a real organization (the Phils)" He had to hang up with me for not seeing this eye to eye with him.

I was hoping for Cleveland.
Would have brought a whole new meaning to the 'dawg pound'.

cincinnati would have been more fitting, convicts, clowns and the worst run team in the league.

This is good news for the Eagles and Vick.

The guy can break ankles and will give defenses fits. The Eagles are a serious contender now.

Since when does off the field behavior = on the field performance?

If that were true then LT would of been on the sidelines in the USFL.

Come on, people. The NFL has always glorified morons and thugs.

This is only a big deal because Americans, for the most part, value a dogs life over most humans. If he had thrown a b.itch down a flight of stairs this wouldn't be news.

Exactly. If he had just gotten drunk and killed a person while driving, he would have been out of jail a long time ago. What did Stallworth get? A month?

the fact stallworthy literally got away with murder really has nothing to do with vicks disgusting acts over several years' time.

the guy getting railroaded is plaxico burress, who hurt no one but himself and is looking at serious jail time-i find his case to be far, far beyond ridiculous.

but, not surprised vick got signed. peta will make their grumblings, but who pays attention to those crackpots anyway?

I agree with your dad.

I did apologize to my dog last night for signing a dog killer. He didnt understand. I always thought vick as a qb was so overrated. As a runner he's the bomb. We are bringing him in as a wildcat QB only.. which I assume he will be the best in the league. Still gonna boo him tho.

Although I find Vick's actions reprehensible this is true and a sad commentary on today's society.
