The winner of that race was the only horse to do any sort of running, the rest bascially just pulled up on the far turn.
Congrats on the engagement, I hope it worked out a lot better than this pick 4 did for me. I was alive to 2 horses for over 5K each.
I keyed my ticket around Wonder Again once the ground got soft. We actually got a table in the clubhouse restaurant after tipping the Maitre'd heavily for a table near the track at an empty breakfast. That is a good strategy to use there. Marriage has worked out well, thanks.

We must be talking about different days. Wonder Again didnt run that day.
All Hail Stormy won multiple times at Saratoga, so you must be referring to another time.

The day I am talking about, the last race should have never been run on the turf. It was a claiming race or cheap allowance. We got hit by a huge storm right before and during the running of the John's Call, won by Spanish Spur. The rain continued heavy for another 15-20 minutes, but they still ran that last race on an absolute bog. It was ridiculous. Only 1 horse in that last race did any sort of running and won by many lengths. Oh well, still a great day!

Glad marriage worked out for you! Its rare to hear these days.
