Yup. That's the main reason the whole argument is ridiculous. Of course there are more good horses in other parts of the country.....there are more horses.

I have never heard a losing trainer or jock remark, "Hey at least that horse was from our circuit!"

Very true.

I actually like when CA shippers do well in NY, as I hope it will convince others to ship here, and I am certainly hoping Paulo Lobo does well in NY. I hope he is rewarded for shipping his stable across the country.
