He was put to quite good use as pace fodder in the '06 Derby.

That last spring at KEE over half of the 9f races were wirejobs, and several of those paid $15 or better. I think SM paid $18.

GZ could've thrown those splits with Cannon Shell and Coach Pants on his back.
