Granted we are all in this together (tracks, trainers, owners) but to use a "W" word......isnt it ironical that the decrease in purses affects the "third party" in this pissing match, the owners.

PID here we come.........just wait until next year when Indiana Downs purses will be more than CD...............amazing.

Perhaps you forgetting that you are part of the second party, the horseman. The "trainers" arent blocking anything, it is the HBPA which is not only trainers but owners also not to mention the KTA which is also owners and trainers.

Unless they cut purses, this is the equivalent of being paid while on strike.I have no problem with them striking, but getting full purse money while doing it is one of the oddest things I have ever heard of.

I use to watch Churchill races on TVG and I saced the charts. While I didn't follow the spring meet a little bit. Since they decided to go on their own with HRTV, I bet Churchill once in a while last year. Then I realized I was sretching myself too thin cappin races from that track. I decided to focus more on my home track and I don't miss Churchill a single bit.

I don't think O'm alone in shifting my wagering dollars. My point is within the last year, Robert Evans has turned Churchill Downs into an irrelevant racing track in terms of out of state simulcasting wagering.

He's never been the same since Ali MacGraw left him for Steve McQueen. Can't blame him. THAT was a tough beat.

Did that happen before or after the Godfather was made?

McQueen was the King of Cool or something like that. The Cinncinati Kid was a good movie. The car chase through SF was classic.

LOL...Pretty good (even just to listen to.) This is actually Fred Sanford and Grady Wilson driving these cars. They heard that cases of Malt Liquor were being given out for free. They never showed this episode though.
