I have already described Grasshopper to another handicapping audience as "the Aaron Burr of duelers." I've seen him lose live twice -- yesterday, and in last year's edition of Super Derby at Louisiana Downs. Both losses as heavily bet favorite. Grasshopper gained acclaim for finishing second to Street Sense in 2007 Travers Stakes at Saratoga. So does your suspiciousness also extend to Empire State as well? ![]()
