The Distorted Humor - Peppers Pride 2yo debuts in the fourth race.

Too bad the Zenyatta 2yo isn't in there!

I see Angela Renee has been made the favorite for the 2YO Filly race. For the sake of the breed I hope there are more than a few better than her in that race.

I'm with you that she might not be that good, but on paper that's a pretty soft field. Plus cant you make the excuse that she hated the slop last time?
I dont think she's even the best 2yr Bernardini filly in the barn, but I guess they are high on her. Why else send her out there to race over the track?

I dont know about that, a horse took him to the 8 path the first turn, then others never gave him a break.

He was 10 lengths best.

I don't disagree. He's special. I thought he was quitting before the final quarter. Then boom. Light goes on.

Big MOFO. It will be interesting to see how far he can go.

There were three very impressive winners on that card today.

Oh yeah, and about Shared Beliefs win today.

That was a pretty bush league move by Baffert and Espinoza. After that whining by Baffert about how people enter speed against Game on Dude, he basically uses Sky Kingdom today as nothing more than a tool to take Shared Belief out of the race.

Watching that, it would be hard to dispute that him floating out into the first turn was intentional. It looked like Smith and Espinoza might have been jawing at each other during the race after that happened.

Hey Bob, look up the meaning of the word hypocrite.

And no RHT, I don't want to hear your robotic response defending your hero.

I didn't think I'd ever see Baffert resort to such sour grape tactics.

100% agree..Bushleague Bob. To bad SA doesn't have Trakus..Amazing effort. How about 2yo American Pharoah running faster than Beholder albeit easier trip.

Santa Anita does have trakus. Shared Belief ran 66 more feet than Fed Biz.

Congratulations to Beholder as well. Going for a repeat in the BC Distaff. If she wins, she'll join Goldikova as the only 3 time winners but she'll be the only won to do it in 2 different BC races.

I saw it more for Espinoza wanting to beat SB for California Chromes changes but I guess the Baffert angle makes more sense.

Should be a good story on what was said after the race, look forward to hearing it.
