Default Payout Question

Woodbine has a guaranteed pick 4 of 100,000 why does the pool
say 76,594. How do you know they added the extra money? There was also
a lone ticket for half a million on the super high 5. results wdbn r10

Im guess its the exchange rate. maybe 100,00 Canadian equals 76,000 American.

I had to look it up. 100 Canadian equals 91 American. Plus the takeout, maybe comes to 76.

100K Canadian equals just over 91K American.

I'll take a guess that the pool listed is after taxes/takeout?

That's probably why I never bet Canadian tracks. I only have room on my coffee table for the computer, DRF, and beverage. My old "Mathematics Made Easy" textbook just won't fit.

The 76k # is the total pool minus the 25% take, so they barely got over the guarantee.

The early p-4 ending in the 7th race was guaranteed. $112,259.
