Local USC fans really thought that they would kill Ohio st. USC is real young and it figured that they would choke this season, but not many thought it would be this late in the season. USC wasn't that good to #2.

Hmmm...I think that sounds right. The only team that can beat Ohio State is Michigan. And no one likes Ohio State (unless your from Ohio). So this should be good.

This was a damn shame.
I don't bet sports other than a friendly 100 bet on things like the Super Bowl or NCAA tourney or college championship game. I can watch a game and go nuts rooting without any money on a team. But I was prepared to open an online sports betting account and make a huge bet in the seemingly done deal USC-OSU chapionship game. OSU would have beaten them up and down the field and humiliated them. Damnit.
I'm happy for Florida or Michigan and their fans though, a true crime was being committed in sending a team that had absolutely no business in the championship game. They were riding a media love affair and hype job.
Gee I guess Pete "the genius" Carroll blows another one.
Pete's done, and next year the guy they coveted and worked on getting for 4 years will be playing under the Goldem Dome for Charlie Weiss. Outrecruited in their own state for the hottest qb prospect in ten years, Claussen.
Justice was served today, and now a team that deserves to be in the big game will be there, but the guys who were waiting to bet OSU over USC have to be crying, I mean, does anyone now believe that USC could have been within 4 touchdowns of OSU?
Seattleallstar the jinx strikes again!!!!

Come on Dixie, I expect better out of you.
You weren't gonna win that bet even if they won yesterday and you damn well know it, now suck it up and move on. All you did was save yourself a long 5 weeks of stressing over a championship game where OSU would have beaten them to death.

Boys lose today, and it was NOT a pleasent weekend.

Did you see the posts Dream Lady and Neuilly drew? What was the price on that?

Dixie,
All they did was save you future heartache.
If the media gets Florida to the title game you can always make up what you blew on the game yesterday and your future bet.
Florida has as much chance of beating OSU as an allstar team from this board would.
