This is none of my business, Sir.

I have followed along, for the most part, but am sure I've skipped a day or a couple of posts.

While I know you have a bankroll specifically for the Spa, can afford to keep going and enjoy wagering I am wondering if you've considered taking a couple of days off. It's just seeing the minus 600. plus after two races that makes me even bother to post so sorry if it seems like I am overstepping any invisible line!

My biggest problem (besides sucking!) was beginning to be discipline. I felt like if I had capped the card I should damned well play it cause what if...

So I am having a bit of a break, only playing the occasional race at Saratoga anyway as I can't seem to do much of anything right there.

No one suggested this to me but I'm finding it not-so-terrible to cap and then sit it out (for now. When it's time for the tracks I do better at I will stop this silliness).

Besides it seems like the jocks at the Spa have all been infected... who knew stupidity was contagious.

Anyway, continued good luck to you. Figured it was okay to be the bad guy here and am not meaning to disrespect your capping abilities in the slightest.

Just thought, as I've recalled seeing some "go all the way" type of posts, I'd give you the other option and say maybe consider sitting out, not playing every single race every day or wait for the bigger days and then go in guns blazing (Huh? I have never used that expression before ).

Good luck. I will look forward to your posts after you have had a phenomenal day.

Default to miss storm cat

well thats olful nice of you to even concider giving me advice

and good advice to boot
its been a rough meet for me at the spa
but other bets since beginning of year have been ok
i dont post to much what i bet during the year in here
but i chart everything i bet from sports bets to horses

and beleive it or not going in to july 18th with all tracks from jan 1st to that date when saratoga started
i was on the plus side 6,694 just horses

i admit i dont do very weel at spa recently but ive had some doozy years
where ive crushed
i look at it as balancing it out i guess
i think sometimes people see the huge number and and say wow
step back
but if yo tallyup everything since jan 1st im down about 6000 for year in horses
i play every day
so about 230 days so far 28 dollars a day im losing
thats how i look at it

im not counting the sports betting which i have done pretty well in last 5 years
so i tend to think looking at a number of now over 12,000
it makes people wonder
but i do thank you for advice

and one other reason i like to play
i dont know your age or your postition in life
im 84 years old
so , i figure i really cant sit out to many

2nd i find it keeps my mind sharp win lose or draw
reading and capping
and 3rdly it occupies my day and beleive me at my age you need to be occupied especially living alone now

but i do thank you and i only wish good things for you when you get back in
i do remember you have good opinons
