![]() If you showed the two replays of two races, one of Rahy's last week, and one of the race today, and you asked guys who didn't know the outcome of the two races which one came down, and which one stayed up, you'd have an 80% vote that it was the one today.
Same thing happened at the Spa two summers ago. Smokey Glacken almost out another horse over the rail, who ran 2nd and stayed up. Few days later they had a 1 1/8 NY bred maiden special weight where the winner moved over slightly on a dead horse and they took him down in like two minutes. These guys make horrible calls then make the next call as a reaction to the outcry on the previous call. They are absolutely incompetent and unfit to hold their jobs. |

If they wanna say that Rahy and this horse both woulda won anyway, and leave em both up, that would be slightly less appalling, but at least consistent. You can't take her down and leve this one up. By the way, I was talking about horses the other day and how once they got stopped you can't use what they do afterwards as a gauge of how much horse they had. Most of em(espeicaly cheaper ones) will just say screw it and can't restart the engine. the fouled horse may not have won, but he damn sure was gonna be closer than that. Tossed his head up, and said screw this. They ain't cars. These guys are a disgrace to the sport. |
