Value Plus has a nice pedigree, not that it made him much of a racehorse.
half to Roll Hennessy Roll and Majorbigtimesheet. his dam was a stakes winner and I read somewhere 5 of her 7 won at first asking. he should be an ideal win early sire. I get why breeders would have interest there. MDO should make an excellent sire of both turf and dirt runners. the others, well its a lot of speculation and wishful thinking. like mentioned earlier in this thread, the listed prices(which I am sure are not set in stone) seem very random. I get Stonewall is trying to jump right into the market and make a splash but they would have been better served to bring in some of the very nice and productive sires that stand in Florida. Repent |

oh,
and on the Sharp Humor subject. very nice racehorse. just did not get a chance to run all that much. why are so many good Distorted Humor runners NY breds? he has never stood in NY has he? I know you can have a state bred come from any sire, it just seems like I see a lot of Distorted Humor runners on past performaces sheets listed as NY breds. i know he has stakes winners like Sensibly Chic, Commentator, FCide, and Sharp Humor. but he has a lot of NY breds in general also. can anyone shed some light on that for me? thanks.
